About Helioid

Using Helioid’s search refinement tools you can find and explore what you are looking for by interactively narrowing your search results.

About the Helioid Search Prototype

Within the tool:

• the column on the left presents categories generated from the text of your search results
• the color of the category boxes on the left coincides with the color of the result boxes in the center/right column.
• each box represents a different result and is color coded to match its assigned category.

To navigate the categories and results you can mouse-over categories and narrow results to remove specific catgories or show only specific categories. You can then continue in this way showing only the combinations of categories that are most helpful to you.
